The Trusted First Step Before IT Asset Disposition
SureDispose is an independent advisory platform. We help organizations understand their compliance exposure, quantify their risk, and connect with vetted, certified ITAD providers who meet their specific industry requirements. We do not perform disposition services — we are the assessment that ensures you know what you need before you commit to who provides it.

Why We Exist
Every IT asset disposition vendor’s website tells you the same thing: hire them. That is not a criticism — it is structural. Vendors are paid to perform services, so their websites are built to convince you they are the right choice. They cannot be objective, because objectivity is not their job.
That structural bias leaves a gap. Between the moment an organization realizes it needs ITAD services and the moment it selects a vendor, there is no neutral guide. No free assessment of whether current practices actually meet regulatory requirements. No independent explanation of what a Certificate of Destruction is, what R2v3 certification guarantees, or why NIST 800-88 Revision 2 matters more than “we wipe the drives.”
We built SureDispose to fill that gap. The right sequence is to assess first and select second — and an organization should not have to pay a vendor to understand its own exposure before it even knows which questions to ask.
What SureDispose Is — and What It Is Not
Clarity about our role matters. Here is the distinction, plainly.
SureDispose is an independent advisory platform, not an ITAD service provider. It is the assessment step before vendor selection, not a vendor directory or marketplace. It is a compliance-aware matching engine, not a generic lead form or quote request. It is vertical-specific and research-grounded, not a one-size-fits-all tool. And it is transparent about its business model, not pretending to be something else.
That distinction matters because the questions you ask an advisor are different from the questions you ask a vendor. An advisor helps you figure out what you need. A vendor sells you what they have. Both have value — but in that order, not the other way around.
We do not own shred trucks. We do not operate a processing facility. We do not warehouse decommissioned laptops or resell refurbished equipment. We are the step before all of that — the assessment, the education, the match.
Independence is not a claim. It is a set of structural choices.
Three things make our independence real — and make it possible to trust the match.
No Preferred Provider
SureDispose matches your assessment results against a network of certified providers based on your vertical, geography, volume, data sensitivity, and compliance requirements. We do not take equity in providers. We do not hold exclusive contracts that funnel every lead to a single vendor. Providers enter the network on equal terms, so matches are driven by fit — not by who paid the most to sit at the top of the list.
Published Standards, Protected Data
Every provider in our network must meet verifiable certification, insurance, and coverage requirements. Those standards are published on our Provider Network page — we do not get to quietly lower the bar. And your assessment responses stay yours: nothing is shared with providers until you give explicit consent. If you complete the assessment to see where you stand and stop there, that is a valid outcome. The tool was built to be useful on its own.
How We Make Money
SureDispose is free to organizations seeking ITAD services. Our revenue comes from providers who pay us for qualified introductions — and only after you consent to share your results. Providers do not pay for unqualified leads, so we are incentivized to send well-matched introductions, not volume. We do not earn more when a provider charges more. The assessment is valuable on its own; what happens after is between you and the provider.

Contact usITAD is the process of securely and responsibly disposing of obsolete or unwanted IT equipment. This includes data destruction, asset tracking, certified recycling, and ensuring compliance with environmental and data privacy regulations.
No. SureDispose is an independent advisory platform. We assess your compliance exposure, evaluate your readiness, and connect you with vetted, certified ITAD providers that match your specific needs. We never perform disposition services ourselves.
It depends on your industry, the types of data you handle, and where you operate. Our assessment identifies every applicable regulation — from HIPAA and GLBA to NIST 800-88, state privacy laws, and environmental mandates — so nothing gets missed.
About five minutes. The questions are short, and most people complete it in one sitting. At the end, you receive a personalized readiness report summarizing where your current practices align with industry standards and where the gaps are. You see your results before any contact information is required.
You see your readiness report immediately. From there, you have three choices. You can keep the report for your own planning and stop there — a legitimate outcome, and one many organizations take. You can provide contact information to discuss the results with our team. Or you can consent to be matched with certified ITAD providers whose capabilities fit your assessed needs. If you choose to be matched, we share your assessment results with one or more providers in our vetted network. No data is shared without your explicit consent, and you can opt out at any time.
